Team 45 T28

Hey all. Team DeLaMaza is looking for players for Team 45 45 tournament 28. We will have teams in U1600 and U2000. No U1800 this time. I won't be participating in this tournament but please post here if you are interested so that Roman can start registering the teams. So far Generalkaia and Phorku have shown interest in U1600. Thanks.

Team DeLaMaza is T27 Champs!

With ItsMrPatzer's win today we secure the win for Tournament 27 and successfully defend our championship! Thanks everyone for a great tournament. Hopefully everyone had a good time and will want to play again in Tournament 28 in September.

Does anyone know how to delete comments? I received my first unsolicited ad in my previous post.

Please welcome phorku to the blogosphere. He played with us on our DeLaMaza U1800 team in this last tournament. I'm trying to encourage him to join the round table as well.

Epiphany

You know those days when you are driving along the street, minding your own business, when suddenly you realize that you've been using your chess thought process incorrectly? Well, yesterday was one of those days for me. I have been looking at my opponent's threats incorrectly where I would see threats that weren't even there. This took up a lot of unneccessary thinking time. I'm going to start to change that today.

It looks like Roman's Pomaranch Team U1800 is having a bit of trouble. One of their members, Cerebero, was accused of computer assistance. You can read about it on his blog and see the games. Roman wants our help in analyzing the games to see if there really was cheating or not. It sounds like Teachchess is not forthcoming on information.
