Feeling a case of the sniffles

Pat Morita

I know this has nothing to do with chess but I just wanted to take a moment to honor one of my childhood heroes, the original sensei, Pat "Noriyuki" Morita, aka Mr. Miyagi.

Mr. Morita passed away on Thanksgiving day, November 24, 2005, at the age of 73. He was best known for his Oscar nominated performance as Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid series, and his role as Arnold the cook on Happy Days.

Goodbye Mr. Morita. You will be missed.
